on the hunt for a new bike since my old faithful was stolen out of my garage early last summer. so very sad. i looked around for a new one all july and august, but didn't find the right replacement. bikes are so personal and i'm having trouble finding "the one"...
also having trouble deciding between a road bike or a more cruiser-style one like the ones above. one thing i need is a basket since i use my bike to go to work and to pick up groceries. but baskets don't work too well on road bikes, do they?
maybe you can tell me this: what do you ride and why?
and if you're from or around winnipeg, do you know of a good place to look for a bike? i've tried garage sales and have heard of these guys, but if you know of anywhere else, please do tell.
